Child Care

Can chiropractic help children?

The chirpractic profession places considerable emphasis on structural balance and the importance to the potential problems which can result from these seemingly harmless childhood incidents.  These strains or incidents to which children are subject can easily be a contributing factor in creating spinal malfunctions and/or nerve irritation.

Clinical evidence suggests that common disorders of childhood such as colds, constipation, bed wetting, asthma, and other conditions can be helped through spinal manipulations (adjustments) if they are a result of neurological irritations caused by spinal imbalances.  In addition, functional scoliosis (spinal curvature) can often be corrected with chiropractic care.
