Acupuncture for Menopause

Menopause can be a very difficult and confusing time in a woman’s life.  It comes with many unwanted symptoms that can last anywhere from a few months to a few years.  What makes the condition even more complicated is that treatment options are limited and some are even controversial.  For instance, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) has shown some positive results for women however, it could also result in a number of side effects that can make menopause much worse.  All woman will experience menopause at some point in their lives but the process doesn’t need to be a completely dreadful experience.  Acupuncture therapy can aide a woman through this time in her life by relieving many of the common symptoms caused by menopause.
